Practice & Business Manager

Our practice manager is responsible for all non-clinical areas of the practice. If you have any queries about the practice or any comments on the provision of General Medical Services provided by the practice Mr Horton will be pleased to help.

Mrs Claire Scully

Practice Support Manager

Employed as Practice Support Manager Claire and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practices contact centre, data team and secretarial team along with the  receptionists at all three surgeries. She carries out a wide variety of additional managerial duties and will be happy to help you with any questions about the service offered.

Mrs Jill Peel

Clinical Services Manager

Responsible for co-ordination of GP, Registrars and nursing staffing along managing the practices complaints processes. She carries out a wide variety of additional managerial duties and will be happy to help you with any questions about the service offered.

Mrs Noelani Morton

Finance & Premises Manager

Our Finance & Premises Manager deals with all premises and accounting matters ensuring prudent management of the practice’s finances. She is based at Adwalton House Surgery where she works closely with Mr Horton.

Prescription Team

Mr Umar Haq – Practice Pharmacist

Umar is responsible for day to day management of the prescription team along with ensuring medication queries are dealt with in line with practice guidance. Umar carries out a wide variety of additional managerial duties and will be happy to help you with any questions about the service offered.

Miss Kate Mangham – Pharmacy Technician

Kate coordinates and actions patient medication review queries along with supporting the pharmacy support officers.

Both Tracy & Jayne handles all repeat prescriptions requests. They are happy to help by liaising between clinicians and patients if problems or queries arise in relation to repeat medications.

Our receptionists and contact centre staff have a demanding and difficult job, but are here to help you and will always deal with your requests as efficiently as possible. When the surgery is busy this can occasionally take time so please try to be patient.

Secretaries

Our secretaries handle all correspondence for our doctors. Together they run the department processing all hospital referral.

Mrs Joanne Gibss

Joanne coordinates requested by insurance companies and outside agencies with regard to mortgage applications, life assurance and pensions information, along with patient records requests, DLVA reports and arranges medical examinations needed for pre-employment, physical sports and heavy goods vehicle licences.

The data team provides support to colleagues within the practice around data analysis, monitoring clinical targets, coordination of long term condition reviews along with the organising clinical campaigns throughout the year(smoking, flu etc) and auditing patient and practice data.
